Dexter's Laburgertory

I purchased gift certificates for Dexter's. Stopped in yesterday for a late lunch. I ordered the Jonny Electric burger and Wow it was so good!! My burger was larger than I expected and very juicy. It was served with fries all for 12.50! I will definitely be returning here soon.

This place was exactly what I needed it to be after hiking. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, the staff was friendly and helpful, and being able to pick the music on the digital jukebox was a fun novelty. I got the burger with jalapeno poppers, pepperjack, and homemade pepper jelly, which was fantastic. Highly recommend.Definitely a hidden gem in the area!

Try The Fresh Prince sub you won't be disappointed! The sub was great!Sub roll was soft and toasted, lettuce and tomatos were fresh and crisp. Fried onion, mushrooms, jalapeño and banana peppers were done perfectly. Lots of steak and extra pepper jack cheese.To top it off was the bacon pepper jam! They said I would love it and they were absolutely correct. I would ask to get that on every sandwich you get!Will be back to try other sandwiches but will be hard to not order the same sub again!

Came to visit family in Maryland. We went shopping in Berkeley Springs and I wanted a club sandwich. Looked up local food and found this gem of place! Burgers were phenomenal!!! The shakes were outstanding! We got the Oscar, which came with a fried egg, the build your own, a chicken wrap and we ordered one to go, the Johnny Electric, which we heard was great! We got to play pool and listen to music while we waited - super cool place! This will officially be a stop for each trip we take out here. Highly recommend Dexter's!

Easy to find! The service was prompt and very friendly. The food was awesome, but be prepared to take some home! Huge portions!! The atmosphere is very casual, which is fine, but seemed geared more to teenagers. Still, enjoyed my food and experience! Would definitely go back another vacation!

I only wish the burger was WELL DONE as I asked, I like it almost charred. BUT...I really enjoyed my early dinner here nonetheless. I was the only one dining as I like to avoid the crowds and eat early like I'm 50 years older than I really am or something. I had a nice conversation with the owner and, subsequently, his wife later on. I deliberately drove 45 minutes to eat here. The ambiance was pleasant and clean, not at all like the BBQ place (Earth Dog Café) that was previously at this location. You order up front and then they bring your meal to you. I had a pretty big salad before my burger came out along with home cut fries and an ice tea. The fries were not my favorite. But the burger was so large and delicious, I had trouble finishing it. I asked the owner on my way out how much ground beef they use and he said about 1/2lb. No wonder. All this to say, don't forget to check out Dexter's on your way through. I will be driving 45 minutes again soon just to enjoy it again.

The location, cute. The service, great. The food, ah-mazing. I will say that it was quite cold inside, but take a jacket and you should be okay. The food was fantastic and absolutely worth being a little cold.

This place is a fairly new place, but the food was way better than I expected. My wife got the mushroom Swiss burger and I got the black and blue burger. These were extremely juicy and thick and were properly cooked. Definitely recommend if you’re going through the area!!
